Homemade Breakfast Bars

 


Total time: 20 minutes

Ingredients for 6 people

1/2 cup hazelnuts

2 cups rolled oats

1 green apple

1/3 cup butter

1/3 cup honey

1 tbsp raw cane sugar


Tools

Plastic bag

Parchment paper

Medium-sized rectangular baking dish


Step 1/2

Place the hazelnuts in a plastic bag and crush with a bowl. Pour the crushed hazelnuts in a mixing bowl with the oats and diced apple. Mix well. In a saucepan heat the butter, honey, and raw cane sugar, then pour it into the mixing bowl with the other ingredients.

Step 2/2

Line a medium sized rectangular baking dish with parchment paper, pour the mixture inside, and pat it down evenly. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 °F. Remove from the oven and let chill in the fridge. Once chilled, cut into 6 bars and enjoy!
